Baptisms
St. James' offers both adult and children baptisms. If this is something you would like more information about please use our Contact Us page.
There is no charge for this service, although donations will be gratefully accepted for the work carried out in Pensnett and surrounding areas.
Weddings
As part of the Methodist Connexion, St. James' Church affirms the sanctity of marriage and rejoices when a couple choose to celebrate their love in the sight of God. We are pleased to extend that invitation to individuals who may have been previously married.
The cost of a wedding service is £400 which includes a fee for the Church (£155), Minister (£155), Organist (£55) and Steward (£35). St. James' Church does not have bells or a choir for such occasions. If the use of the projection (£20) is required the fee is £420. Marriage blessings are also carried out at St. James'.

Funerals
At times of sorrow, St. James' Methodist Church seeks to work with the bereaved in order to remember the individual who has died.
The cost of a funeral service is £340 which includes a fee for the Church (£105), Minister (£145), Organist (£55) and Steward (£35). If the use of the projection (£20) is required the fee is £360.
